• How do you pronounce Puj?

Just think of a pudgy baby and you will know how to say it. At puj we develop modern products to simplify parenthood. We do this so you can focus on what is most important...your little puj.
  • What does Puj mean?

It means pudge. Your pudge. Your baby. Your reason for being. Your bundle of joy.
  • Is this a pouch sling?

Nope, this is a Go sling. Most pouch slings are a bit on the sloppy side and hold baby too low on your body for our liking. The go sling fits more like a cinched up sneaker so you and baby are one. The Go sling holds the baby higher and closer to your center of gravity for more stability and predictability while carrying your little Puj. The higher carry position helps baby develop a closer relationship with you because of this position and the better eye contact. The Go sling is a favorite of midwives and child psychologists for this very reason. The Go sling is best for babies once they can hold their own head up until the time that they loose interest in being carried.
  • How do I choose the right size?

Check the sizing chart on the product page. If you are still having trouble determining your size, send us an email. We will be happy to help. sales@pujbaby.com
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of the Go Sling?

Modern, simple, compact, lightweight, stylish, no straps, buckles, or zippers. Key clips? Come on, you're not putting your keys in there anyway. We are about making your life easier not about you losing your keys or credit cards once a week. The advantage of the Go sling is its simplicity and portability. It goes with you everywhere easily and is ready when you need it. How many times have you hauled your 3 year old into the post office with one hand, carried your toddler with the other and carried your package in tucked under your chin? You need to stop the madness and pick up a Go sling or two. Disadvantages: Not an all day hauler. That's not what you're looking for anyway. This is about daily life. Hectic, almost frantic, daily life. You don't have time to strap on or buckle up another sling. You need something you can lasso your baby with as you are shutting the car door and walking to your third stop of the morning. If you are doing a 10 mile hike with your baby, this is not your product. If you want a way to make each day easier whether its traveling on airplanes, meeting your friends downtown, making dinner, doing simple jobs around the house, hitting the farmers market in the afternoon, this is the sling for you.
  • Can my spouse and I wear the same sling? - (view sizing chart)

Unless you are exactly the same size, usually not. The Go sling works best when it is fitted to each adult.
  • What is a fitted sling?

A fitted sling is one that is fitted to you body size. The Go sling comes in 5 sizes to accommodate most moms. If you don't happen to fit our size range let us know and we will appreciate your feedback.
  • Can I use this for my infant and toddler?

Yep. Fit the sling to you. Once your baby can hold their own head up you are good to go and the same sling will work until they loose interest in being carried.
  • Are your slings stretchy?

No. We have found the stretch to be less predictable during use and less secure.
  • How do I know the Go sling is right for me?

Are you a mom on the go? Do you wish you had another hand? Do you like freedom? Do you like hands free travel? Have you tried other cumbersome carriers but didn't like the fuss? Want a simple solution that works every time? Want the chance to cuddle with your baby even on the run? If yes, then the Go sling is right for you.
  • What is the recommended age and weight limit?

15-30 lbs. The Go sling can be used from the time your baby can hold her own head up to the time she looses interest in being carried. The common age range is from approximately 6 weeks to 2+ years.
  • Are your slings padded?

No padding. Again, we are about simplicity and minimalism. The way the Go sling is designed disperses the loads and pressure points. If you are wearing the sling properly for you and baby, padding is not needed. If you need an all day hiker, there are many other baby carrier options. If you want to be fleet of foot and always have your sling with you, the last thing you want to be doing is hauling around extra padding. Lets just keep it simple.
  • Is my baby secure? - (view the "How to Wear" section)

If you are wearing baby properly, baby is secure. The important part to note is to pull the sling up to the top of baby's back and to stretch it under them to behind their knees. Some common sense helps here too. For example, you won't want to lean over to grab things on the floor without a hand on baby. Puj, LLC is not responsible for accidents due to improper use of the Go sling.
  • Why are your slings not lined with a soft cozy fabric?

We have found that having baby in contact with you is usually enough to keep both of you warm. Extra layers in the sling create extra bulk and weight. Puj is focused on keeping all the extras of parenting to a minimum-that includes extra layers of fabric.
  • How do I know if I am wearing baby properly?

The Go sling is primarily a hip carrier. Baby will feel secure and be sitting high on your hip with one leg on either side of your torso. The top of the sling should be pulled to the top of baby's back and the bottom of the sling should be pulled under baby to the back of the knees. • My sling is the wrong size, what do I do now? - (view our policy)

Take a deep breath. We will be happy to exchange it for you. A proper fit is essential to an enjoyable experience. Please see our return/exchange policies for details.
  • In how many positions can I carry my baby?

The Go sling is primarily a hip carry. The hip carry is what it is designed for and it is the best location for and on the Go mommy-baby dynamic duo.
  • My child spit up all over the sling, is it machine washable?

Yep. The Go sling is pre-washed so it won't shrink. It is also machine washable. Lay flat to dry for best results.
